TELLING A STORY
Following the groundwork laid by the original members of Major Def, a new generation took root. Expanding upon various dance forms—Breaking, Locking, House, Lyrical, Waacking, and more—Major Def made a bold shift from themed medleys to storytelling-based performances. Many consider this era to be the "peak" of Major Def.

CHANGING OF THE GUARD
As many members of the older generations of Major Def began moving into the next stages of their lives, the "Golden Era" was coming to an end. After more than ten years of existence, the team had experienced its highs and lows, its wins and losses—and with a massive reset on the horizon, Major Def was ready for a new generation.
